I'm Kind of Back

We bought this year's tree from a radiant Guatemalan-born Québécoise.

I took my first guerilla fashion photo in a long time. I kind of dug these short-heeled brown boots, with the dowdy handbag and the skirt inspired by lingerie. There was something very Anais Nin about it all and she was being trailed by a small, unleashed dog.

I strong-armed my kids into walking miles over to the High Line to catch the NYC Gay Men's Chorus perform holiday songs.

I know it's hipper to hate it, but I do love this time of year.
